About the Movie
Diary of a Wimpy Kid 4: The Long Haul is the 2017 fourth installment in the hit film series, based on Jeff Kinney's ninth book of the same name. Directed by David Bowers, this road comedy follows the Heffley family on a chaotic road trip to Meemaw's 90th birthday party.
The Heffley family road trip goes hilariously off course thanks to Greg's newest scheme to get to a video gaming convention. With birds attacking, clothes flying away, a runaway pig, and much more funniness and misfortune, the Heffley road trip becomes an unforgettable adventure!
This is the first film in the series featuring a completely new cast, as the original actors outgrew their roles. The new cast brings fresh energy to the beloved characters while maintaining the signature humor and heart of the franchise.
🎭 New Cast & Characters

The youngest Heffley who always gets his way and has a pet pig that causes unexpected trouble.
