The Plot

In Ice Age: Continental Drift, the fourth installment of the beloved franchise, Scrat's perpetual pursuit of his beloved acorn continues to have world-altering consequences. This time, his antics trigger a continental cataclysm that separates Manny, Diego, and Sid from the rest of the herd.

Adrift on an iceberg, our three heroes encounter a ragtag crew of pirate animals led by the fearsome Captain Gutt, a fearsome prehistoric ape who commands a ship made of ice. As Manny struggles to reunite with his wife Ellie and daughter Peaches, he must also contend with the pirate crew's attempts to recruit—or eliminate—the newcomers.
